The other beach is on the southern side, which is accessible through a small beaten track from the larger beach on the northern shore.

under supervision of the Royal Thai Navy. Due to its ease of accessibility,

In addition to the beautiful coral reef surrounding Koh Phai, the Navy recently
sunk a navy boat to create another artificial reef as well as boost the local
diving industries. The decommissioned World War II 912 ton landing craft, HMS
Kram, now lies peacefully on its keel just off the shore of Koh Phai after many
years of faithful service in the Royal Thai Navy, thus, providing the local
marine life with a new artificial shelter and a new attraction to diving enthusiasts.
HMS Kram lies upright on its keel in approximately 30 m of water. Two orange floating buoys, each tied to the bow and stern of the wreck, provide convenient descend lines for divers. Currently, it is the most well preserved shipwreck in Thailand
